R&D Programs

Salentec conducts complex, commissioned research programs tailored to specific client needs. Our expertise covers the study and optimization of advanced materials and nanotechnologies, surface engineering including the
development of custom coatings and surface treatments, and the development of refractory materials.

Laboratory Analysis

Micro and macrostructural analysis on materials, performance study and optimization. Performance evaluation of refractories, fracture analysis, thermographic, mechanical, and physico-chemical analysis, high-temperature technological analysis.

Rapid Prototyping and Production of Ceramic Materials

Salentec produces advanced technical materials, toughened alumina, and zirconia for dental and non-dental applications. For these materials, it is possible to create components with complex geometries using numerical controlled machines.

Production of High-Temperature Furnaces and Scientific Equipment

Thanks to partnerships established with other companies, Salentec develops high-temperature furnaces (up to 2200°C) and scientific equipment for the thermal analysis
conditioning of materials.

Other Services

Consulting for the optimization of materials and industrial technological processes, 3D solid modeling and development of new prototypes, consulting and market research, technical support for companies in development projects or research plans.

Special Productions

We produce and market prototypes and first-series components and devices in technical ceramics, technopolymers, and thermostructural composites.

Biotechnology

We develop and produce materials for the dental sector:
alumina, zirconia, and ZTA, millable ceramics, and ceramic composites for prostheses and implants.
